Full Job Description
This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Principal Wholesale Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of US Account Marketing plans for key wholesale accounts. This role plays a critical function in driving business growth by ensuring best-in-class marketing activations at account level. The role works closely with Sales team, to ensure alignment on brand, retail, and digital marketing strategies that enhance consumer engagement and sell-through. Success requires strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to execute marketing programs that elevate the consumer experience while ensuring alignment with global brand priorities.

Strategy Execution & Account Management

  • Define and align seasonal marketing plans, ensuring integration of product and brand priorities for key wholesale accounts.

  • Execute account marketing calendars to secure brand presence, share of space, and consumer engagement across key wholesale partners.

  • Collaborate with Key Account Sales to ensure marketing programs align with commercial objectives and sell-through priorities.

  • Support digital and social marketing strategies for accounts.

  • Serve as the key marketing contact for assigned accounts, ensuring marketing tools, campaigns, and activations are delivered on time and in full.

Retail & Digital Activation

  • Plan and execute in-store activations, product launches, and promotional campaigns in alignment with key seasonal priorities.

  • Partner with Creative team to ensure high-quality retail execution that enhances consumer engagement.

  • Work closely with retailers to drive sell-through, ensuring alignment between in-store and digital activations.

  • Maintain an understanding of key consumer trends, retail behaviors, and competitive market dynamics to inform marketing strategies.

Performance Measurement & Budget Management

  • Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing activations, leveraging data and insights to optimize future investments.

  • Ensure budget oversight and cost control, maximizing ROI on account marketing spend.

  • Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure efficient budget allocation and performance tracking.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales and Brand Communications to deliver cohesive consumer experiences.

  • Act as the consumer activation lead, providing input on marketing tools and assets required to drive engagement and commercial success.

  • Share best practices and work cross-functionally with Global teams to drive a consistent and scalable marketing approach.

  • Maintain strong relationships with retail partners, ensuring alignment on seasonal marketing priorities.

YOUHAVE

  • Typically requires 5-8 years of professional experience and strong competency with the various tools, systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Management, or equivalent minimum 5-8 years proven documented account or wholesale marketing experience.

  • Strong knowledge of wholesale and retail business, account marketing, consumer engagement, and sell-through/profitability models required.

  • Exposure to retail design and visual merchandising skills and knowledge of in-store presentation is key.

  • Effectively manages budget, people, time & money. Uses information and financial data to make decisions and ensure profitability. Establishes and monitors key business and financial indicators.

  • Strong leadership and personal management skills required.

  • Exposure to and knowledge of wholesale retailers desired.

  • Must be able to work with internal department heads to generate ideas and concepts for account marketing programs.

  • Ability to travel 10-15% of time.
