Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience in automated process and test systems development required.
• Proficiency in software development languages such as C#, C, and C++.
• Preferred knowledge of optical communication technology.
• Expertise in designing and developing software for automated assembly and test systems related to optical data communication products.
• Proficient in motion control and machine vision technology applications.

Responsibilities

• Define automated processes and system specifications with internal customers.
• Document and agree on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to design and select key components for system conception design.
• Create software architecture for system conception design.
• Develop and test software according to architectural standards.
• Debug and integrate control modules to ensure functional operation.
• Install and support systems in production, troubleshooting as necessary.
