Full Job Description
About the Role:

Gen is hiring a Senior / Principal Product Manager to own our Web Experiences platform across MoneyLion.com, GoBankingRates, CardCritics, and the broader Gen syndication network - the web properties that drive acquisition, SEO, and monetization across our Consumer Marketplace ecosystem.

Centralizing ownership of the web experience layer (front-end performance, rendering strategy, experimentation, and component system) so the website operates as a scalable product platform rather than a fragmented collection of marketing pages.

You will partner closely with the Consumer Marketplace PM, SEO, PMM, and Engineering to make the web the strongest growth lever in our portfolio - improving conversion, unlocking faster experimentation, and building the rendering layer that makes AI-personalized web experiences possible.

MoneyLion, now part of Gen, is a leading financial marketplace and consumer finance platform. We power millions of consumer financial decisions - from credit cards and personal loans to banking and investing - through our mobile, web, and enterprise-distributed Marketplace surfaces. Our Consumer Marketplace team builds the personalization, marketplace, and experience systems that connect consumers with the right financial product at the right moment, and scales those systems across Gen's broader family of brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Gen's web experience layer: MoneyLion.com, GoBankingRates, CardCritics, and the broader syndication network.
  • Drive conversion rate optimization across acquisition funnels - landing pages, comparison pages, affiliate flows, and Marketplace entry points.
  • Partner with Engineering on rendering strategy, front-end architecture, and the component system that powers all O&O web properties.
  • Lead the web experimentation roadmap - site-wide testing frameworks, variant generation, and measurement discipline.
  • Own web SEO product strategy in partnership with the SEO team - site structure, Core Web Vitals, schema, page performance, and indexability.
  • Define the rendering, personalization, and experimentation surfaces that let AI-driven content and decisioning show up dynamically on the web.
  • Reduce technical debt in the front-end ecosystem and drive long-term maintainability across the O&O portfolio.
  • Define and track KPIs across conversion, organic traffic, engagement, and revenue per session; drive decisions through rigorous experimentation and data.
  • Partner with the Content Platform PM to ensure the rendering layer and the content layer compose cleanly.

About you:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.

Experience: 7+ years of product management experience for L10, or 10+ years for L11, with significant time on consumer web, SEO, affiliate/marketplace, or high-scale front-end platforms.

Skills:
  • Strong technical fluency in modern front-end architectures (React, Next.js, or similar), rendering strategies (SSR/SSG/ISR), and web performance.
  • Deep experience with SEO - technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, schema, site architecture, and organic growth levers.
  • Proven track record running large-scale web experimentation programs (A/B testing, multivariate, personalization).
  • Experience in affiliate, marketplace, or comparison-site business models strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with analytics and measurement tools
  • Ability to partner deeply with front-end engineering on architectural decisions.
  • Understanding of how content platforms, design systems, and rendering layers compose at scale.
  • Strong collaboration with SEO, PMM, lifecycle, and growth marketing teams.

Personal Attributes:
  • Obsessed with conversion, performance, and experimentation - treats every page as a product.
  • Comfortable operating across multiple brand properties without losing coherence.
  • Strong technical partner to engineering; can hold their own in architecture discussions.
  • Pragmatic and outcome-oriented - ships iteratively and measures rigorously.
  • Sees AI as a teammate - actively explores how dynamic rendering and AI-generated variants can compound web growth.
