Shape the Future of Digital Assets and Financial Markets
The Role

Capco is seeking a Principal Consultant to join our Digital Assets practice in New York. This is a senior client-facing consulting role where you will help leading financial institutions navigate complex transformation initiatives across digital assets, blockchain, tokenization, digital market infrastructure, and emerging financial ecosystems.

You will combine strategic advisory expertise with hands-on delivery leadership, helping clients define their vision while driving successful execution. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead large-scale programs, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver impactful business and technology outcomes.
What You'll Do
  • Lead strategic digital asset engagements, helping clients define roadmaps, operating models, and business cases across tokenization, digital custody, payments innovation, and blockchain-enabled solutions.
  • Manage complex transformation programs from initiation through delivery, overseeing scope, timelines, budgets, governance, and risk management.
  • Lead business analysis activities including requirements gathering, process mapping, use case development, and target operating model design.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and facilitate alignment across business, technology, operations, and compliance teams.
  • Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, proposal development, client pitches, and capability building initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • 7-12+ years of consulting, financial services, or related industry experience with a strong track record of delivering transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital assets, blockchain, crypto, tokenization, or digital market infrastructure.
  • Strong experience leading complex programs and managing multiple workstreams across business and technology teams.
  • Proven business analysis capability, including requirements management, process design, user journeys, and operating model development.
  • Deep understanding of wealth management, asset management, capital markets, banking, or payments ecosystems.
Bonus Points For
  • Experience working with tokenization platforms, digital securities, real-world assets (RWAs), crypto custody solutions, wallets, or exchanges.
  • Knowledge of blockchain ecosystems such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar distributed ledger technologies.
  • Experience navigating regulatory frameworks impacting digital assets and emerging financial products.
  • Professional certifications including PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, CBAP, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience contributing to business development, revenue growth initiatives, and consulting practice development.
