- Core Knowledge & Skills: Works across multiple languages and platforms, designs and implements architectural decisions, applies design patterns, cloud-native services, IAAS/PAAS/SAAS basics, and secure coding practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Work & Complexity: Performs complex tasks under limited guidance, integrates and troubleshoots distributed or cloud services, and optimizes performance and scalability.
- Quality & Independence: Sets a high bar for code quality, multitasks effectively, owns and corrects errors quickly, and drives continuous improvement.
- Teamwork & Communication: Leads code reviews, mentors teammates, and translates technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Consulting & Engagement: Works directly with clients without oversight, writes technical RFP content when needed, nurtures client relationships, and manages routine client concerns.
As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Power Platform Developer.
Project SummaryAIS is seeking a Power Platform Developer that can build accessible, supportable Power Platform applications and automations that modernize legacy forms, approvals, and data-entry processes for a federal customer.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Canvas and model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and supporting Dataverse or SharePoint components.
- Implement data validation, user experience patterns, role-based access, error handling, auditability, and notifications.
- Build solution packages and participate in disciplined ALM, source control, release, and environment-promotion practices.
- Integrate applications with approved APIs, flat-file exports, SharePoint, Azure services, and enterprise data sources.
- Support peer reviews, unit testing, system testing, UAT defect resolution, and production readiness.
- Document application configuration, support procedures, and user guidance.
Required For This Opportunity- 3+ years building business applications with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, Power Fx, connectors, solution packaging, and Power Platform ALM.
- Ability to implement complex forms, conditional workflows, and robust data-validation logic.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and secure integration practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have Skills- Experience with Power Platform in GCC High or regulated environments.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or custom connectors.
- Microsoft Power Platform Developer certification.
At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.The targeted base salary range for this role is $100,000-$150,000 per year.
