Full Job Description
About Fluidstack

At Fluidstack, we're building the infrastructure for abundant intelligence. We partner with top AI labs, governments, and enterprises - including Mistral, Poolside, Black Forest Labs, Meta, and more - to unlock compute at the speed of light.

We're working with urgency to make AGI a reality. As such, our team is highly motivated and committed to delivering world-class infrastructure. We treat our customers' outcomes as our own, taking pride in the systems we build and the trust we earn. If you're motivated by purpose, obsessed with excellence, and ready to work very hard to accelerate the future of intelligence, join us in building what's next.

About the Role

As Power Electronics Engineer in the Advanced Engineering group, you will architect the future of data center infrastructure, designing innovative High and Low Voltage Direct Current (HVDC/LVDC) electrical systems. You will pioneer thermal and magnetic design solutions that ensure the reliable power delivery and operation of millions of GPUs.

The Focus
  • Lead end-to-end power electronics development for HVDC/LVDC power architecture systems serving multi-gigawatt GPU computing loads, from circuit design through manufacturing
  • Design high-power, high-voltage control and protection circuits including SiC/GaN gate drivers, fault detection systems, and isolated sensing for DC power distribution platforms
  • Develop embedded control systems using microcontrollers, DSPs, and FPGAs for real-time power management, monitoring, and protection of high-frequency power electronics
  • Design auxiliary power supplies for 800V-1500V DC inputs, isolated communications interfaces, and EMI/EMC compliant circuit architectures
  • Perform circuit simulation, PCB layout (Altium Designer, SPICE, PLECS), thermal analysis, and design verification for high-reliability power electronics assemblies
  • Lead reliability testing, manufacturing transfer, and field deployment support for power electronics serving mission-critical AI infrastructure
About You
  • 7+ years of experience in power electronics circuit design with deep expertise in high-voltage, high-current applications
  • Proven track record designing and bringing up complex digital and analog circuits for power management, control, and protection systems
  • Expert-level proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium Designer preferred), circuit simulation (SPICE, PLECS), and hands-on troubleshooting of high-voltage circuits
  • Strong understanding of wide-bandgap devices (SiC, GaN), gate driver design, isolated power supplies, and high-frequency magnetics
  • Experience with embedded systems programming (C/C++), FPGA development (VHDL/Verilog), and real-time control algorithms for power electronics
  • Deep knowledge of power conversion topologies, digital control loop design, soft-switching techniques, thermal management for power semiconductors, and high-voltage insulation coordination

The salary range for this position is $150,000-$450,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.

We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
