DescriptionAbout this roleWe're seeking someone who understands the technical side of utility construction and can translate that expertise into business growth. You'll identify new opportunities, build relationships with utilities and industry partners and support major project pursuits.

Key Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate opportunities within Distribution, Transmission, Substations, EV Infrastructure, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Renewable Energy and other utility-related markets.
- Establish market priorities and recommend expansion into new geographic regions, service offerings and customer segments.
- Monitor industry trends, utility capital improvement programs, and regulatory developments to identify future opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with utilities, EPC contractors, developers, municipalities, engineering firms, and key industry stakeholders.
- Lead client engagement efforts, including presentations, capability meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives. - Serve as the technical business development lead for the Power Business Unit.
Communicate the company's capabilities with confidence and credibility to clients and industry partners.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseThe ideal candidate combines strong business development skills with deep technical knowledge of utility infrastructure, enabling them to engage credibly with clients, utilities, engineers, EPC contractors, and industry partners while developing strategies that support sustainable business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of industry experience and technical knowledge will be considered.
- Demonstrated success in business development and market growth specifically within power sectors such as transmission, distribution, substations, or utility infrastructure.
- Experience supporting complex power infrastructure pursuits and proposals.
