Overview

Join us in reshaping the future of Rail & Transit engineering at AtkinsRéalis. As a senior leader within our Engineering Services team, you will help drive strategic growth, strengthen client partnerships, and oversee the successful delivery of high-impact infrastructure projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to guide a high-performing team while advancing innovation and excellence across a dynamic market.

Your Role

Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and market share in the engineering services sector.


Business Development:
  • Maintain a highly visible market presence across the region.
  • Lead strategy development and execution for the business/division to deliver on market growth in both volume and profitability, incl. size growth potential, target priority segments, define the Go-to-Market approach including pricing policy.
  • Steer the BU / Division sales funnel.
  • Oversee bids with budget over $5m: craft bid strategy, make Go-No Go decisions and validate offers, challenge delivery set-up (incl. GTC share).
  • Manage own portfolio of clients (usually Key Accounts), take direct leadership on related proposals.
  • Fully deploy account management model and participate in account teams for top 5 clients in your business.
  • Connect with Engineering Services Global Market Networks, support Eng. Services key pursuits upon request.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and drive growth within the portfolio.


Business Delivery:
  • Project set-up and execution.
  • Oversee projects with budget over $5m or high-profile risk: manage client interface, chair key internal meeting (kick-off, progress reviews, key milestones), validate major change requests / contractual amendments, manage waivers & claims, support cash collection, manage risk and contingency.
  • Manage the portfolio of projects to deliver on overarching regional business goals (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually) and maintain reasonable risk levels.
  • Maximize margin production leveraging GTC, labour mix and other available options.
  • Deliver maximum business efficiency while delivering growth goals.
  • Lead and oversee project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects within budget and on schedule.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects and client engagements.


Client Relations:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.


Financial Management:
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.


Team Development:
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.


About You

Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, or related field).

Experience:
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in client management working in the private or public sector.
• Must have completed and actively participated in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Have participated in market development.

Skills:
• Recognized as a leader with a proven track record for winning work and growing business.
• Champion client value propositions and provide oversight on the implementation of complex bid procedures, governance, and processes.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for the organizations vision, its products and services.
