The Canada Outlet Planner is a trusted partner that supports growing DTC brand/category and channel strategies. You will be an instrumental team member; with financial experience of the retail market to inform the retail buy plans and drive continued growth. You can resolve important business issues, provide analysis on opportunities and risks, drive consistency in processes, and adopt best practices across the business and within the Direct-to-Consumer team. You will work with planning leads, merchandising team, and allocation partners to ensure end-to-end strategy execution and line productivity.
About the Job- Own financial planning and performance for the Canada outlet channel, including sales, margin, and inventory
- Build and manage bottom-up sales and inventory plans; align with top-down targets
- Forecast in-season performance and drive actions to address risks and opportunities
- Lead in-season execution, including promotions, markdowns, and inventory flow decisions
- Partner with merchandising to set assortment and category productivity targets
- Collaborate with allocation to optimize inventory placement, replenishment, and receipts
- Deliver reporting and insights to inform business decisions and financial outcomes
- Build and maintain planning tools, reporting, and processes to support the business
- Work cross-functionally with merchandising, allocation, and Canada teams to execute strategy
- Communicate performance, risks, and actions to planning leadership
- You will report to the Canada DTC Planning Manager
About You- 4+ years of merchandise planning or related experience
- Advanced Excel skills with experience building and managing complex models
- Experience with retail math, financial planning, and inventory management
- Experience managing forecasts and in-season business performance
- Ability to prioritize and manage a broad scope of responsibilities
- Experience working cross-functionally with merchandising and allocation teams
- Manipulate, analyze and translate data into actionable business insights
- Communicate up, down and across a range of stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $69,400 - $101,800 per yearWe may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
