Pediatric Nurse Onboarding Lead Responsibilities:
  • Provide mentorship through careful planning, organization, coordination, and regular review of nursing training and support services to maintain the highest level of clinical standards.
  • Deliver direct, highly skilled nursing care to highly complex clients transitioning directly from the hospital to home care.
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of nursing training methods and practices, ensuring high-quality care outcomes and compliance through real-time charting.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and staff, promoting a team-oriented culture.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and the capacity to make well-informed decisions in dynamic, potentially stressful clinical environments.
  • Assist clinical leadership during in-home patient assessments, onboarding checks, and the overall coordination of care.
  • Uphold and ensure nursing staff adherence to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, and operational guidelines.
  • Explore and advocate for innovative approaches to improve and expand pediatric nursing services.

Pediatric Nurse Onboarding Lead Requirements:
  • Current nursing license (RN or LVN) to practice in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with preferred experience handling high-complexity cases.
  • Demonstrated flexibility with travel to a variety of field sites and client homes to perform training, onboarding, and assessment activities.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Salary Description

$33 - $45 per hour
