OverviewUnder supervision of the Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Manager, the Payroll Service Delivery Analyst will ensure accurate processing and recording of the OMBP’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, daily data entry, and perform related work as required such as writing procedures and improving processes.
This role requires a knowledgeable payroll analyst who will manage all processes relating to payroll and benefits in USD and foreign currency. Must be able to use payroll accurately and efficiently and be good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. In this role, payroll is calculated and transmitted for employees with different employment classifications. The Payroll Service Delivery Analyst is responsible for balancing the payroll and documenting all transactions related to an employee’s wages, including any payments or credits for hourly pay, premiums, bonuses, reimbursements, etc. They also record how much each employee earns and make updates when they receive raises. The Payroll Analyst will produce regular and ad hoc payroll reports for management. They also communicate with employees about any discrepancies in their pay. They use multiple systems and payroll software features to process payroll.
HYBRID in San Antonio, TX. Monday-Friday is required in the office in the beginning for training, then we will switch to a hybrid position 3 days per week.

Salary: $86K-$110K
Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing for employees
- Understand all aspects of payroll in regard to payroll laws and regulations
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately
- Provide excellent customer service to employees in the areas of compensation, taxes, how to clock in/out, and how to request time off in a timely manner
- Supporting management to improve Payroll processes
- Educate teammates on payroll and timekeeping, policy, processes, and practices to ensure effective execution
- Perform daily payroll operations
- Perform updates to payroll-related data and manage overall payroll workflow
- Ensure timely processing of all new hires, promotions, and terminations
- Analyze and audit payroll data for accuracy of posting, including intercompany transactions
- Prepare journal entries related to payroll and benefits and record timely and accurately
- Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll applications
- Calculation and distribution of reports
- Process garnishment payments
- Complete employment verifications and unemployment insurance information requests
- Process 940/941 tax forms (US) and P45/60 tax forms (UK)
- Process accurate and timely year end reporting (W-2, W-2c, P60)
- Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Other assigned duties
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Payroll Processor or similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, best payroll practices and demonstrated ability utilizing systems, tools, and procedures to accomplish the job
- Strong Knowledge of U.S. federal, state regulations
- Detail-oriented
- Able to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential information
- Ability to manage a high volume of work under tight service delivery deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
- Strong PC knowledge including proficiency in Excel
- Team player yet a self-starter and self-motivated individual; assertive in maintaining confidentiality
Desired Skills:
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC), or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
- Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now Payroll and Time & Attendance desired but not required
- Working knowledge of ADP iHCM, UK employment and tax law
- Experience working with military personnel, especially overseas
- Human Resources knowledge in Recruiting, Benefits, Employee Relations desired but not required
