As a
Patent Agent Lead, you will assist the Chief IP Counsel in the protection of our company's intellectual property rights.
Key Responsibilties:
- Draft and prosecute patent applications in accordance with U.S. and foreign patent laws and regulations.
- Assist with patentability searches and provide opinions on patentability and freedom-to-operate matters.
- Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and capture new inventions.
- Provide intellectual property support for commercial contracts.
What We Are Looking For- Requires bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as engineering or computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 3-5 years related experience.
- Prefer experience as a Patent Agent, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
- Strong understanding of U.S. and foreign patent laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with IP terms.
- Contract review experience a plus.
What We OfferCompensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between
$118,000-$155,400 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
