Job Summary:
The Oracle JD Edwards Lead Developer will provide technical leadership and hands-on development expertise across JD Edwards environments, with strong knowledge of JDE technical components including FDA, RDA, NER, and BSFN. The role will be responsible for application development, testing, troubleshooting, system improvements, integrations, and technical knowledge transfer while coordinating with stakeholders and vendors across different time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise across JD Edwards development, including FDA, RDA, NER, and BSFN.
• Work with Master Business Functions and develop and maintain Power Forms.
• Contribute to system architecture development, functionality partitioning across applications and components, application interfaces, and interoperability considerations.
• Apply software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development.
• Support systems management and operational activities, including security and infrastructure considerations where applicable.
• Validate testing completed throughout the JD Edwards implementation lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot development issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform unit testing to verify application functionality against requirements and design specifications.
• Provide recommendations for system improvements and analyze risk mitigation strategies for system enhancements.
• Perform issue analysis, debugging, bug fixing, and troubleshooting of standard JDE programs, including NERs and C BSFNs.
• Train internal customer JD Edwards technical teams on technical aspects of JDE.
• Develop and support BI Publisher solutions.
• Integrate JD Edwards with external systems using Business Services and Orchestrator.
• Work effectively in a multi-vendor environment and coordinate with stakeholders across different time zones.
Required Qualifications:
• 12+ years of experience in JD Edwards technical development.
• Strong JD Edwards technical background with hands-on experience in FDA, RDA, NER, and BSFN.
• Strong understanding of Master Business Functions and experience working with Power Forms.
• Experience with JDE system architecture, application interfaces, interoperability, and functionality partitioning.
• Experience with software development methodologies and structured system development approaches.
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in standard JD Edwards programs.
• Experience performing unit testing and validating testing throughout implementation lifecycles.
• Experience with BI Publisher.
• Good understanding of integrating JD Edwards with external systems using Business Services and Orchestrator.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and train internal technical teams.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple vendors and stakeholders across different time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with JD Edwards Advanced Warehousing and Transportation Management System (TMS) modules.
• Experience with systems management, operational support, security, or infrastructure.
