Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field OR minimum 7+ years of relevant operations experience
• Required experience with the Department of Defense (DoD)
• Background in third-party logistics (3PL) or warehousing environments
• Strong knowledge of part sequencing, JIT/JIS, and value-added services like kitting and metering
• Proven leadership and customer-facing experience
• Strong problem-solving skills with Root Cause Analysis expertise
• Experience in conducting Layered Process Audits (LPA) and proficiency with ERP/WMS systems

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Director of Operations
• Provides strong leadership to salaried and hourly employees across the facility
• Leads daily and weekly meetings to set direction and drive accountability
• Manages and executes projects focused on operational efficiency and improvement
• Fosters a positive work environment through team building and communication
• Acts as the primary liaison with corporate partners and onsite customers
• Directs, coordinates, and evaluates work activities and team performance
• Implements Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Establishes, tracks, and improves key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Analyzes data and generates productivity reports
• Develops and manages operational budgets
• Handles escalated customer issues ensuring high client satisfaction
• Promotes a safe working environment and adherence to company policies
