Full Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Reports directly to the Director of Operations

  • Provide strong leadership to salaried and hourly employees across the facility
  • Lead daily and weekly meetings to set direction, align priorities, and drive accountability
  • Manage and execute projects with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Foster a positive work environment through team building and effective communication
  • Act as the primary liaison with corporate partners and onsite customers
  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate work activities, processes, and team performance
  • Implement and sustain Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish, track, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Analyze data and generate productivity reports to support business decisions
  • Develop and manage operational budgets in alignment with company and customer expectations
  • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Promote and enforce a safe working environment and adherence to company policies


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
    OR minimum 7+ years of relevant operations experience
  • Experience with the DoD (Department of Defense) required
  • Experience in third-party logistics (3PL) or warehousing environments
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Part sequencing
    • Just-in-Time (JIT) / Just-in-Sequence (JIS)
    • Value-added services (kitting, deconsolidation, metering)

  • Proven leadership and customer-facing experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience conducting Layered Process Audits (LPA)
  • Proficiency with ERP and/or WMS systems
  • Demonstrated success in launching new operations or leading turnarounds
  • Ability to be available as needed (including after hours)
  • First responder mindset with the ability to react quickly in critical situations


Location: On-site in Philadelphia, PA

Schedule/ Shift: Monday to Friday 8AM - 4PM

Travel Requirements: Initial travel to other sites for training

Over Time: Possible weekends
