We are looking for nurse to:
- Take blood samples.
- Assess vaccination status and health status to offer indicated vaccines such as influenza, COVID, pneumococcus, herpes zoster or based on the travel destination.
- Offer various services related to hypertension, diabetes or anticoagulant therapy.
- Provide instruction on the use of different blood glucose or blood pressure devices.
- Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner. Work with the pharmacy team to develop the service offering.
What you'll do:
- Assess health status and provide appropriate vaccines such as influenza and herpes zoster
- Identify and offer appropriate vaccines based on the travel destination
- Offer various services related to hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy
- Provide instruction on the use of different devices such as glucometers, blood pressure monitors etc.
- Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner
- Work with the pharmacy team to develop the nursing service offering
Requirements
- Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec
- Hold a DCS or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Be familiar with the PIQ (Protocole d'immunisation du Québec - Québec immunization protocol) and travel health
Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l'embauche :
$45.00 - $50.00 / 45,00$ - 50,00$ (per hour / de l'heure)
