The Work
**This position is based in Moorestown, NJ but will require routine short term travel in 2026 and potential TDY to Schofield, Hawaii (25ID) or Tacoma, Washington (I CORPS) for approximately 1 year beginning in Jan 2027**

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead Engineer to serve as the primary interface with our Army customer at the defined unit location. The successful candidate will lead our onsite activities, coordinating with our Lockheed Martin (LM) team, customer, and other partners to support the warfighter serving as the liaison between the embedded team and technical team. This critical role requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration and effective issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Army customer at unit location, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and trust
• Responsible to manage the onsite team of engineers inclusive of LM and 3rd Party Industry Partner Engineers
• Receive Warfighter feedback, focused on rapid integration/development while providing insight to near and long term system enhancements to infrastructure, communications, maintainability, and war-function utility
• Coordinate with the LM team to plan, execute, and monitor on-island activities, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and expectations
• Collaborate with the customer, LM team, and other partners to collect and distribute feedback, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Ensure timely reporting and remediation of issues, working closely with the customer and LM team to resolve problems and minimize downtime
• Support the warfighter by providing technical expertise and guidance on system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and pain points, using this knowledge to inform LM's product and service offerings
• Lead and participate in meetings, briefings, and other forums to communicate technical information, provide updates, and address customer concerns
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging open communication, and promoting a proactive approach to issue resolution and customer satisfaction

Basic Qualifications
• Previous experience with Army Exercises, Prototypes, and/or Organization
• Proven leadership experience, with a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with customers, partners, and stakeholders
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong technical expertise in a relevant area (e.g., systems engineering, software development, or network operations)
• Experience working with uniformed military personnel and customers, preferably with the Army
• Experience presenting to the customer and all levels of internal and external senior leadership status reviews
• Ability to complete TDY assignment in Hawaii or Washington for approximately 1 year and as business needs warrant
• 10+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline
• Ability to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship required.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $147,700 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
