What you’ll be doing...You will lead and manage a highly motivated and successful System Performance Engineering team. You will oversee the successful implementation of new assets into the existing network in support of regional goals and customer satisfaction.
Identifying issues in the network and driving solutions to fix the identified issues.
Providing proficient direction with Airwave, DMAT, RTT, ELPT, ALPT, 5GPT, and other performance-related tools.
Leveraging Data analytics to gain insights & improve Key Performance Indicators for various technologies (4G, 5G, Volte, Standalone).
Making recommendations on strategies to improve both network performance and customer experience.
Being a team player and working with their peers, Engineering counterparts, and Network Assurance to deliver on the POR and set up processes to ensure the market’s long-term success.
Interfacing with Sales, Customers, City officials, First Responders, and other community groups.
Working closely with RF design and operations peers to deploy solutions during emergency situations, music festivals, and any large gatherings.
Coaching a diverse team of experienced engineers, guiding their learning and development, and ensuring they have the resources to deliver on their goals.
Conducting long-term planning to ensure performance solutions are tracked and included in network upgrades and redesigns.
Ensuring network performance remains consistent with the business's changing requirements.
Leading engineers through change as our network and skill sets transform.
Managing the operation and maintenance of all technologies necessary to expand and evolve the network to meet customer demand for new and improved service offerings.
Collaborating with internal teams and peers to determine the business needs and execute data requests.
Driving continuous improvement, leveraging the latest industry knowledge and methods for ensuring network performance.
Ensuring the organization meets the metrics set forth by leadership, including administrative, auditory, and KPIs.
Ensuring the security, safety, and environmental compliance of systems and facilities are in accordance with corporate guidelines.
What we’re looking for...You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Wireless Systems Performance experience.
Willingness to travel.
A valid Driver's license
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A Master's degree.
Demonstrated Network Performance experience.
Ability to adapt to changes, consider different viewpoints, and the ability to learn new skills and concepts as our network transforms.
Coaching, feedback, and teamwork skills.
Experience working in an environment with employees represented by a collective bargaining agreement.
A track record of being able to lead teams/individuals to meet the goals assigned by the business, as well as guide people to finding solutions to issues identified in the network.
Ability to be a team player and will work with all departments to help solve issues, develop processes, and be a leader on the Northern CA management team.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $125,500.00 - $219,000.00.
