SALARY RANGE $175,000 - $235,000/year

DUTIES As a successful candidate for the Network Engineer III role, you will provide support as a member of the Network Administration team, delivering technical assistance to Network Administrators and System Administrators, monitoring and maintaining the current infrastructure, improving overall system performance, and helping automate system administration functions. You will also contribute to the development of algorithms used within modules or integrated into models that support the research and development of technologies and systems involving one or more of the following areas: traditional circuit-switched networks, data networks, access technologies, wireless systems, the media used to carry these services, the protocols required for transport and service completion, network operations, management of network resources, provisioning of resources, and traffic and/or performance modeling of such networks.

QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support and training commensurate with a network engineering curriculum. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline must have twelve (12) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support. In lieu of a Master's or Bachelor's degree, sixteen (16) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support may be substituted.

CERTIFICATIONS An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is also required.
