Description

SAIC is seeking Mission Engineer SETA to support SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

In this role, you will help plan, test, and integrate GEOINT and multi-INT mission products and software services supporting Combatant Commands and DoD partners. You will advise government managers responsible for enterprise-wide capabilities, define key technology demonstrations, and integrate advanced capabilities into regional exercises-directly shaping how the mission delivers timely, actionable intelligence.

Key Responsibilities to include:
  • Support technical and programmatic interchanges, identify issues early, and provide engineering guidance that enhances overhead and tactical mission capabilities and accelerates kill-chain closure.
  • Plan and execute GEOINT and multi-INT integration efforts, including automation of GEOINT computer vision and MTI workflows.
  • Evaluate and integrate analytic modernization tools such as Thresher, FADE, Turbo, and other multi-INT exploitation environments.
  • Conduct system trade assessments, interface evaluations, and lifecycle performance analyses to inform enterprise-level decisions.
  • Apply systems analysis and operational mission modeling to define KPIs, measures of effectiveness, and architectural runway trade-offs.
  • Develop high-quality briefings, technical documentation, and modernization roadmaps for Program and Project Manager engagements.
  • Engage with users, stakeholders, and mission partners, collaborating with Landmark AOS engineers and domain experts to demonstrate and operationalize advanced processing and exploitation capabilities.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Familiarity with analytic modernization tools (Thresher, FADE, Turbo) and multi-INT exploitation environments.
  • Strong understanding of software architectures, spacecraft ground systems, and intelligence mission management workflows.
  • Experience managing technical performance, schedules, interfaces, and risk.
  • Background in secure cloud architectures (e.g., C2S, IC GovCloud) and Agile development.
  • Proven success in fast-paced, collaborative environments, with strong communication skills across government, SETA, FFRDC, and contractor teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
