About IMG Rights

IMG Rights is the division of TKO that advises and negotiates media deals on behalf of the world’s top sports and entertainment organizations as well as advises them on key strategic priorities aimed at growing overall media presence and maximizing global commercial media value. IMG’s list of global clients include leading sports properties/federations such as the NHL, NASCAR, NBA, MLB, NFL, NCAA, MLS, Wimbledon, Tennis Grand Slams, Major Golf Tournaments, and the IOC as well as the professional sports franchises that sit within them. IMG’s growing consulting and advisory practice expands upon the division’s rights representation services and collaborates directly with top-level client leadership in responding to changing market dynamics, developing media strategy and positioning, tackling pressing obstacles, innovating new areas of growth, and establishing key relationships in the space.

IMG is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join the North America team. The Strategy Analyst will work closely alongside the team’s senior executives that are focused on IMG’s consulting and advisory work, as well as support media deal processes for current and future clients. This role will feature hands-on exposure to all elements of deal negotiation and execution related to IMG’s rights representation services as well as client strategy development and dynamic media rights valuation & scenario modeling across the division’s advisory business.

The Strategy Analyst position will work across all consulting and advisory projects and see heavy client exposure. The ideal candidate is passionate about the media, sports, and entertainment space and eager to learn the ropes of a fast-paced and changing industry. Candidates should be able to work well in teams and effectively manage multiple project workstreams simultaneously. The best candidates will be proven self-starters and show success as strategic thinkers and problem solvers in their previous roles.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support IMG leadership team on client deal negotiation, strategy development, and media rights valuations.

  • Work within the strategy function preparing financial models and developing businesses plans for clients and internal division projects.

  • Take a leading role in executing advisory/consulting project work (e.g., owning client relationships, running weekly client check-ins, delivering final presentation/readouts)

  • Collaborate with team executives in responding to client RFPs and supporting business development processes.

  • Lead industry research, analysis, and due diligence efforts to support client development and expand new business verticals

  • Serve as primary liaison between IMG and TKO Analytics 64 our in-house analytics division 64during data requests as part of advisory projects

  • Create and share relevant knowledge building documents with broader TKO leadership and clientele.

  • Help build, shape, and design internal and client reports, briefs, and presentations.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution

  • Proactive, self-starter who can work independently within set objectives

  • Knowledge of Sports, Entertainment, Media, and Technology industries preferred

  • Foundational knowledge of finance, valuation, and accounting

  • The ability to gather and synthesize information/data into clear hypothesis or recommendations

  • A passion for the sports & entertainment industry combined with a solid understanding of the sports rights market

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$72,000 annually(minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$96,000 annually
