Full Job Description
This Marketing Manager will be responsible for utilizing educational and sales campaigns to influence revenue generation for Pharmaceutical Strategies Group (PSG), the pharmacy benefit consulting division of EPIC. You'll leverage an understanding of the industry and our target audiences to elevate content delivery, optimize channel selection, and improve results while collaborating closely with PSG's sales leaders and subject matter experts to understand their needs, goals, and business complexities. You'll develop programs that improve brand/product recognition, increase new business, and nurture client relationships. You'll leverage a matrixed marketing team to plan and launch initiatives.

You have an eye for streamlining current processes or daily marketing operations to improve speed-to-market while maintaining excellent delivery. You're inquisitive, knowing when and how to ask the right questions. You have a clear vision of key performance indicators and enjoy identifying emerging trends in social media, public relations, and other channels to achieve dynamic results. Once ignited, you move forward with confidence and passion, using data to guide your strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with marketing and business leaders to manage and execute an annual marketing plan that achieves business goals. Present comprehensive strategic plan, editorial calendar, and channel optimization each year.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns that include the use of content (e.g., case studies, white papers, webinars), direct mail, digital marketing, and public relations. Establish measurable campaign goals and utilize various reporting mechanisms to evaluate results.
  • Act as liaison with business and sales leaders to target opportunities for content development and marketing innovation. Responsible for obtaining program approvals.
  • Build trusted, influential relationships with peers, sales leaders, and subject matter experts.
  • Create content management strategy to ensure messaging is clear, engaging, relevant, consistent, and actionable.
  • Support thought leadership program to continually increase brand/product recognition, improve sales solution awareness, and build credibility. Apply content across multiple digital and PR channels.
  • Maintain product positioning framework, keeping marketing, sales, and sales operations up to date on the latest positioning based on new-to-market innovation.
  • Collaborate with the public relations team to gain speaking engagements, awards, endorsements, and byline/quote opportunities.
  • Coordinate logistics of identified tradeshow and speaking engagements and ensure they are supported with modern presentations, displays, and handouts.
  • Identify and analyze key performance indicators for campaigns, public relations, population targeting, and optimization. Work with internal data teams and leadership to build KPIs and evaluate results.
  • Be a brand ambassador and lead by example with innovative problem-solving and collaboration. Advocate change while keeping our company goals and brand standards omnipresent.

Requirements
  • BA degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a relevant field.
  • 5+ years' experience in marketing and/or communications.
  • B2B marketing experience with employee benefits/pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
  • Extremely collaborative, working closely as part of a team, and with other departments.
  • Possess strong knowledge of marketing concepts and copywriting standards across social networks, email, web and digital, print, public relations, and advertising platforms.
  • Able to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and to perform complex tasks leveraging a variety of channels.
  • Experience planning and executing industry events, tradeshows, or speaking engagements, including coordination of materials, messaging, and follow-up is strongly preferred.
  • Strong inclination for organization, process adherence, attention to detail, editorial guidelines, etc.
  • Provide clear, comprehensive instructions when writing creative briefs and submitting deliverable requirements. Ensure key elements (settings, links, databases, deadlines, etc.) are provided early to minimize rounds of edits.
  • Accountable for technical accuracy, testing, and performance of own work.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills with peers to senior leaders.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines in multiple areas.
  • Committed to working within project management tools accurately and consistently.
  • Adhere to marketing policies and priorities, nomenclature, filing systems, and general operations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Some travel required.


Compensation:

The national average annual salary for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
