Job DescriptionThe Manager of Program Management for Global Infrastructure (GI) Strategic Operations will lead execution of GI strategic priorities, macro objectives, and enterprise-wide initiatives that require alignment across multiple GI teams, enabling Global Infrastructure to effectively translate strategy into measurable outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Program Management, this individual will partner closely with GI leadership, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to drive alignment, execution, and measurable outcomes across multiple workstreams. The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of program management, strategic thinking, operational excellence, and technical understanding to help translate organizational macro objectives into actionable plans, coordinate delivery across organizations, and ensure key initiatives are executed effectively. This role requires a highly organized and collaborative leader who can navigate ambiguity, influence without direct authority, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with domain experts to deliver GI strategic priorities, macro objectives, and transformation initiatives that require coordination across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
- Partner with leaders across Global Infrastructure to develop execution plans, drive alignment, and ensure successful outcomes for complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Serve as a central point of coordination across teams for identified key priorities, helping connect strategy, planning, and execution while managing dependencies and ensuring work remains aligned to business objectives.
- Establish and maintain program governance, including milestones, dependency mapping, risk & decision tracking, and executive reporting.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools, workflow automation capabilities, and data-driven insights to improve planning, reporting, program tracking, delivery transparency, and overall program outcomes.
- Establish strong program and change management practices, translating complex business and technical concepts into actionable plans tailored to varying audiences.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align delivery plans with technical strategies, architectural direction, and organizational goals.
- Drive organizational readiness and change management activities to support adoption of new strategies, processes, and operating models.
- Develop executive presentations, communications, and briefing materials that simplify complex topics and support informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness through process simplification, standardization, automation, and adoption of best practices.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred.
- The role is multifaceted and requires strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues, evaluate options, and develop practical recommendations.
- Proven experience leading complex programs, strategic initiatives, or large cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, with the confidence and composure to effectively communicate across a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive presentations, leadership updates, and strategic communications.
- Experience working closely with technical teams and a solid understanding of software delivery practices, system architecture concepts, and technology transformation initiatives.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, manage competing priorities, and independently drive work to completion.
- Strong program and project management expertise, including governance, risk management, dependency management, schedule management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Exemplary positive attitude and ability to build trusted relationships, influence without direct authority, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, and delivery analytics to improve planning, reporting, stakeholder transparency, and program outcomes.
