Full Job Description
Position Purpose:
The Manager, Online Merchandising Solutions leads the teams responsible for driving the process improvement and supplier engagement associated with the rapid assortment expansion of hd.com and subsequent required item troubleshooting. The associate in this position creates and implements processes that optimize the efficiency of online merchandising data management for both ecommerce and store products on homedepot.com. Coordinates with all internal and external vendors to meet the deadlines, budget and strategic objectives of online merchandising team and the homedepot.com organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 30% Manages the execution of complex special programs that typically involve business to business customers and internal functions.
  • 20% Creates and implements processes to optimize the efficiency of product data collection. Enrolls internal functions and external partners in the development of work flow procedures and the ongoing monitoring and improvement of those procedures.
  • 20% Coordinates and leads all internal functions in the execution of promotions and data collection on homedepot.com.
  • 10% Collaborates with internal and external customers to develop processes/programs to drive timely execution of product data collection for homedepot.com; utilizes workload management to communicate with the merchants.
  • 10% Responsible for external resource management. Manages outside vendors to ensure execution of programs and tactics on time and within budget. Manages projects and the allotment of money to meet budgetary and segment goals.
  • 10% Troubleshoot and problem solve for ongoing operational needs as they arise.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
  • This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Online Merch Solutions.
  • This position has 0-5 direct reports.

Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
