About the role

We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager of Business Development to help grow our top-of-funnel sales efforts with both large corporations and clean energy developers and manufacturers. Our ideal candidate has a "hunter sales" mindset, while also having the ability to work highly collaboratively with other team members.

What you'll do
  • Play a key role in developing and executing on top-of funnel business development efforts
    • Lead top-of-funnel outbound campaigns, which require a thoughtful and creative approach. Collaborate with marketing, technology, and other departments to execute campaigns
    • Qualify inbound leads by understanding prospect needs, challenges, and buying intent
  • Develop strong relationships with contacts at large corporations and clean energy companies
    • Develop strong relationships with clean energy developers and manufacturers through a range of channels, including e-mail, video, in-person meetings, and conferences
    • Serve as a trusted and consultative partner that can answer both highly technical questions, as well as big picture strategic questions
  • Generate inbound interest through thought leadership and hybrid marketing / sales initiatives
    • Participate in webinars, panels, and other opportunities to share knowledge on clean energy finance
    • Contribute to Reunion's thought leadership initiatives including market surveys and market intelligence
    • Develop close partnerships with professional services and other ecosystem participants

What you'll need
  • A track record of accomplishment in early-stage or entrepreneurial settings
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort using technology and other hacks to get a lot done with limited resources
  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience working in a high-growth environment
