Full Job Description
Manager, Philanthropy Communications is part of our Corporate Communications group. This position is responsible for conceiving and managing external and internal communication strategies that support The Wonderful Company's philanthropy and corporate social responsibility initiatives, investments and programs in the U.S. and globally. This includes Wonderful and the Resnick's focus on education, health and wellness, infrastructure, sustainability, and more. The role will interact regularly and work collaboratively with Wonderful's philanthropy team, as well as other members of the Corporate Communications group, and throughout the enterprise and its businesses.

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday. The position will also require travel to California's Central Valley. These day trips can be up to ~20% of the time.

Job Description
  • Create and execute strategic communications plans that promote and raise visibility around The Wonderful Company and Resnick's extensive philanthropy globally.
  • Liaise with and support Wonderful's Philanthropy team on communicating key initiatives enterprise-wide, driving internal awareness including Wonderful Neighbor, Wonderful Giving, etc.
  • Produce press releases, remarks, presentations, talking points, briefing documents, creative materials, and other written corporate communication assets.
  • Manage content development and visitor traffic for Wonderful's philanthropy web site csr.wonderful.com and the CSR Field Guide.
  • Identify strategic earned media placements in top-tier media outlets and emerging platforms.
  • Seek opportunities for Wonderful executives and representatives to appears at conferences, on panels, and other forums where our philanthropic and CSR strategies and achievements can be promoted.
  • Coordinate event planning and logistics on major philanthropic gift announcements with partner organizations.
  • Partner with the Fiji-based Manager, Philanthropy Communications and Public Relations for FIJI Water Foundation, in developing assets for social, website, print and other communications materials to promote the Foundation's initiatives in Fiji.
  • Partner with Wines Community Relations team and Wonderful México Filantropía team in developing assets for TWC social, CSR website, and other communications materials to promote philanthropic initiatives in the U.S. and abroad.
  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with our philanthropy, events, proofreading and legal teams to ensure stakeholder communications reflect the company's mission and values.


Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in communications and/or public relations.
  • Experience working in a non-profit setting or philanthropic organization is strongly preferred.
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, work ethic and a desire to work in the area of philanthropy.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated usage of AP style and standard PR tools (Cision, SignalAI, PR Newswire).
  • Ability to create engaging PowerPoint presentations.
  • Familiarity with editing and content tools including Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator).
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential material.
  • Social media experience developing engaging and compelling content for online platforms including, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, capable of handling multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to the Central Valley as needed, up to 20% of the time.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required in communications, Journalism, public relations, English, or related business field.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
