Job Description:
The Manager, Social Marketing will partner closely with the NBC and Peacock Marketing team to lead data-informed social campaign strategy for scripted and unscripted series. This role will use performance reporting, audience insights, social listening, and trend analysis to shape campaign direction, optimize content and platform strategy, and inform key creative and marketing decisions across the lifecycle of a title.
  • Deliver regular performance reporting, audience insights, and clear recommendations to inform campaign decisions, optimize content strategy, and align stakeholders.
  • Use social listening, sentiment analysis, trend tracking, and competitive monitoring to identify opportunities, surface risks, and inform real-time and long-range campaign strategy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and agencies to ensure campaign planning, content development, and platform decisions are grounded in audience behavior, platform performance, and cultural insights.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead data-informed social campaign strategy for assigned NBC and Peacock series, using audience behavior, performance trends, and platform insights to guide campaign planning and execution.
  • Own social campaign performance reporting across assigned NBC and Peacock titles, synthesizing data into actionable insights, key learnings, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
  • Set campaign-level content priorities and platform strategy across current and emerging social platforms, grounded in audience insights, platform best practices, and performance goals.
  • Monitor social conversation, audience sentiment, cultural trends, and competitive activity to identify actionable insights, reactive opportunities, and potential risks for current and future campaigns.
  • Translate social listening and performance trends into forward-looking recommendations that inform campaign planning, creative development, editorial decisions, and broader marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, PR, Media, Creative, and Production teams to ensure social strategy is integrated into broader campaign planning, including activations, influencer campaigns, premieres, and consumer-facing events.
  • Own social-first content capture strategy for shoots, junkets, and special events, ensuring concepts, formats, and outputs align with campaign objectives, audience interests, andplatform opportunities.
  • Manage agency partners responsible for publishing, community management, copywriting, day-to-day platform execution, and on-set social capture, ensuring work is aligned to strategic priorities, performance goals, and brand standards.
  • Oversee social campaign workflows, including briefing, approvals, asset distribution, trafficking, and execution, while ensuring efficient delivery against timelines and campaign objectives.
  • Ensure proper vetting and QA of social creative and copy with Legal, Brand, PR, and internal stakeholders, including accuracy, brand alignment, and grammar/spelling review.
  • Proactively communicate priorities, bandwidth, risks, progress updates, and key performance insights with leadership and relevant cross-functional partners.
  • Develop post-campaign recaps that capture performance drivers, audience takeaways, optimization opportunities, and strategic learnings to improve future launches.


Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or entertainment marketing.
  • Expertise in social platforms, platform best practices, and emerging creative formats.
  • Experience developing and executing multi-platform social campaigns with measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of social strategy, content development, audience engagement, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and departments.
  • Ability to take direction effectively while also demonstrating initiative and strategic thinking.
  • Detail-oriented and solutions-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for entertainment, pop culture, fandom, and social media trends.
  • Experience working with talent, influencers, agencies, or production partners is a plus.
  • Experience with Airtable, Sprout Social, Microsoft Office (including SharePoint), and social publishing/reporting tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

  • Salary range: $80,000- $100,000 (bonus eligible)
