118,700 - 145,100

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. We're looking for a Manager, IT projects, to join our growing team!
What you'll do here:
- Ensure the definition of an IT program/project outcomes and scope in collaboration with the program/project leaders.
- Develop and maintain the integrated plans and evolution of the IT projects by identifying deliverables and dependencies, estimating duration and associated costs, and participating in the allocation of human resources to sub-activities.
- Manage and communicate with stakeholders responsible for IT projects at Intact.
- Act as an advisor to experts and project leaders to ensure objectives are met.
- Ensure that the project investment provides the best deliverables or value to the client/leader.
- Manage the activities of a multidisciplinary team including project managers and project administrators (PCOs), provide timely advice to the various experts and program/project leaders, and lead project risk management.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Certification: PMP and/or PfM is a plus
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
- At least 5 years of experience in managing PMs and PCO.
- Must have experience in setting goals by defining and prioritizing specific, realistic objectives while demonstrating effective planning skills and abilities.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to clearly present information in positive and negative circumstances.
- Experience working with Project Management tools (Clarity, MS Project or similar).
- Experience in both Waterfall and Agile project delivery.
- Experience working in a virtual environment.
- Experience in resource matrix management.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
