Role: Finance Manager

Who you are:

The Finance Manageris responsible foroverseeing the organizations financial reporting, budgeting, and financial planning activities. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role supports the organizations financial operations by ensuringaccuratereporting, strong financial controls, and meaningful financial insights that support business decision-making.

This role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support financial planning, operational budgeting, and financial analysis while helpingmaintainfinancial discipline and transparency in a growing fintech environment.

Whatyoulldo:

Month-End Close,ReportingandControls

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process, ensuringtimelyandaccuratecompletion of all close activities.

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for balance sheet and income statement accounts.

  • Perform and oversee general ledger reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure all reconciling items are resolvedin a timely manner.

  • Maintain detailed month-end schedules and working papers to support financial results and audit requirements.

  • Apply andmaintaincompliance with IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards, including review of customer contracts and revenue arrangements.

  • Maintainand reconcile deferred revenue, WIP, and revenue recognition schedules.

  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensureaccurateprojectaccounting and revenue timing.

  • Supportinternal and external audits by coordinating documentation and financial information.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing insights on financial performance against targets

  • Develop financial models and analysis to support business initiatives and strategic decisions.

  • Provide financial insights and reporting to support leadership decision-making.

FinancialControls &Compliance

  • Maintain strong financial controls and support compliance with internal financial policies.

Operational Finance Support

  • Partner with department leaders to support operational budgeting and cost management.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identifyopportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy.

  • Support improvements to reportingtools,and dashboards.

What you bring:

  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business, orarelatedfield.

  • CPA designationacquiredor in progress

  • Experience managing full-cycle month-end close,financial reportingand audit processes.

  • Strongunderstanding of IFRS accounting standards, particularly IFRS 15 revenue recognition.

  • Experience withforecasting,varianceanalysis,and financialmodeling.

  • Understanding of software business models (licenses, subscriptions, services).

  • Experience withNetSuite.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
