Position Summary

The Electric Operations Program Review Manager plays a critical leadership role in planning, facilitating, and optimizing weekly operating reviews for Electric Operations. This leader supports system-wide program oversight ensuring the effectiveness of review cycles and continuous improvement of operational processes.

Working cross-functionally, the Manager evaluates performance trends, guides agenda development, and ensures timely follow-up on action items. The role also supports regulatory compliance and safety culture while aligning weekly reviews with long-term strategic and financial goals. The Manager continually monitors internal and external factors that affect the planning, forecasting, and successful execution of work and determines, recommends, and implements adjustments as needed. The Manager ensures work is completed and verifies that activities are compliant with applicable regulations, tariffs, standards, and work procedures. The Manager fosters a safe work culture and environment, ensuring employees adhere to all company and regulatory safety policies, practices, and requirements.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

Salary range:

Bay Area Minimum: $144,000
Bay Area Maximum: $244,000

California Minimum: $137,000
California Maximum: $232,000
• This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
• This position is hybrid. You will work from your remote office and your assigned location based on business needs. The headquarters location is in Dublin, CA.

Job Responsibilities
• Weekly Operating Reviews
Lead and coordinate weekly operating reviews that evaluate electric operations program performance across the service territory. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to develop meaningful agenda topics, managing meeting logistics, and ensuring consistent participation from key leaders. Track decisions and follow-up items in real time, and drive accountability across teams by following up with action owners and monitoring resolution.
• Advance Lean Maturity
Promote and apply Lean principles to strengthen operational excellence and support a culture of continuous improvement. Facilitate standard work development, visual management practices, and root cause analysis within weekly operating reviews. Encourage problem-solving at the team level and foster accountability across the organization.
• Program Oversight
Partner with field teams, engineering, finance, and customer organizations to ensure execution aligns with business objectives. Forecast work volumes, anticipate risks, and adjust delivery plans to match evolving internal and external demands.
• Performance & Analytics
Design, implement, and maintain performance metrics to measure program effectiveness, operational consistency, and risk exposure. Analyze work completion data across regions, identify anomalies or downward trends, and recommend strategies for remediation. Present insights to department leaders and executives in clear, action-oriented formats.
• Process Improvement & Collaboration
Champion continuous improvement by identifying gaps in workflows, procedures, and meeting rhythms. Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline recurring processes related to program review, tracking, and reporting. Serve as a liaison between engineering, operations, planning, and finance to ensure alignment and transparency on program strategy and execution.
• Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure all programs are managed in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and applicable tariffs. Monitor work activities and meeting outputs for adherence to both company and regulatory safety policies and protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum:
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Eight years of relevant experience in electric construction, maintenance, service planning, compliance, financial planning, or quality control/assurance.
• Three years of leadership or team lead experience.

Desired:
• PMP Certification or equivalent
• Strong understanding of electric operations (M&C, service planning, estimating)
• Familiarity with CPUC regulatory requirements and safety standards
• Ability to lead meetings and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to develop and deliver presentations to various audiences.
• Analytical problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Adaptability to adjust to changing business dynamics and priorities.
