A Day in the Life of the Manager, Business Operations & Projects:
The Manager, Business Operations & Projects will lead and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives that advance key company priorities and drive positive business outcomes. In this role, you will partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve efficiency across core business functions through effective prioritization, planning, and execution. This position plays a critical role in the development and implementation of complex projects and programs that support both new and existing business needs while fostering continuous improvement across the department. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong relationship builder with exceptional problem-solving, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Lead cross-functional planning efforts to define project scope, strategic objectives, timelines, deliverables, governance, and resource requirements, while building comprehensive project plans that align execution with business priorities.
- Drive execution across organizational teams by coordinating project activity, monitoring progress, and partnering with leadership to ensure timely delivery of milestones, outcomes, and commitments.
- Anticipate program risks and operational challenges, establish mitigation plans, and elevate critical issues as needed to maintain momentum, alignment, and successful execution.
- Champion continuous improvement across business operations by streamlining processes, optimizing workflows, and using data-driven insights to improve efficiency, scalability, and resource allocation.
- Support the design and implementation of strategic initiatives that strengthen operational performance and advance departmental and organizational objectives.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to team members and direct reports, fostering accountability, professional growth, and a high-performance culture.
- Ensure programs and projects remain aligned with enterprise strategy, deliver against defined objectives, and create measurable value for the broader business roadmap.
- Synthesize and communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders and senior leaders, while building alignment and driving informed decision-making.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators and measurable outcomes to evaluate program success and support continuous optimization.
- Oversee program execution to ensure initiatives remain on schedule, aligned across workstreams, and positioned to achieve intended business results.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to enable collaboration, secure buy-in, and drive successful execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Perform other duties and lead additional initiatives as assigned in support of evolving business needs and organizational priorities.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, operations, project management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in business operations, project management, program management, or related roles leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, with the ability to translate strategy into structured execution plans.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with strong attention to detail and sound business judgment.
- Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, build alignment, and present clearly to leadership.
- Proven leadership capability, including the ability to motivate cross-functional teams, drive accountability, and support high performance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate actionable insights, and support informed decision-making.

Base Salary: The base salary range for this position is $120,000- $140,000 annually, plus opportunities for bonus and benefits, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
