Full Job Description
Who are we hiring?

The Manager, Booking is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of bookings for various events across the MSG portfolio of venues. Key responsibilities include managing the booking process from start to finish, including identifying artists and attractions, negotiating rental agreements, maximizing venue utilization through cross-department collaboration, and overseeing bookings and operations for ancillary event spaces throughout the venue portfolio. The Manager will assist in developing show budgets and oversee final event settlements. Additionally, this role serves as a flexible booking resource, providing coverage and operational support across all venues as business needs require. The Manager will also support departmental reporting, data analysis, and special projects as needed. The ideal candidate is a high achiever with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating initiative, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset. The Manager, Booking will report to the Senior Director, Booking.

What will you do?
  • Maintain daily communication with agents, managers, and event producers/promoters and internal clients to help maximize opportunities for all bookings at the Theater at MSG
  • Respond to, track, and assess the viability of booking inquiries for opportunities across all of theatres and ensure they are properly vetted for concert / comedy bookings across all our theatres.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders in marketing, ticketing, and public relations to help drive concert ticket sales
  • Manage production costs. Attend preliminary show meetings with Facilities and Finance. Preview upcoming events to ensure client satisfaction, quality of guest experience as well as cost-effective execution.
  • Assist in the strategy to maximize event revenue
  • Work across functions and levels e.g. collaborate with internal departments that support the entertainment line-of-business, including finance, production (facilities), food and merchandise, marketing, public relations and box office teams.
  • Oversee assigned settlements.
  • Work in tandem with Live Leadership on offer negotiations, and to provide advice and feedback on ticketing & marketing.
  • Independently gathers, compiles, and analyzes information from multiple sources; prepares a variety of detailed memos and reports.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

$83,000-$125,000 USD
