The Role

We are seeking a high-performing Manager, Asset Servicing (Income & Entitlements) to lead a team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of dividends, coupons, claims, and other income and entitlement events across global markets.

This role sits at the center of post-trade operations, partnering closely with Front Office, Technology, and global business partners to deliver exceptional client service, strong risk controls, and operational excellence. You will lead a team supporting multiple asset classes and regions while driving operational improvements and process efficiencies across the Income & Entitlements function.

  • Lead a team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of dividends, coupons, claims, and other income and entitlement events across global markets.
  • Ensure a high level of client service by maintaining strong processing accuracy, meeting service level commitments, and responding promptly to internal and external inquiries.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on income and entitlement events, providing guidance and consultation to business partners and stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams to resolve issues, improve communication, and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, reduce risk, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead projects and change initiatives, including business requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, and stakeholder management.
  • Ensure effective risk management and adherence to operational, regulatory, AML/ATF, and conduct risk requirements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning.

  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in Asset Servicing, Capital Markets Operations, Securities Operations, or a related financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of income processing, including dividends, coupons, claims, and entitlement events across global markets.
  • Experience managing income and entitlement processing for equities, fixed income, and stock borrow/loan activity.
  • Strong understanding of market claims, fail trades, and entitlement compensation processes.
  • Proven experience leading operational projects, process improvement initiatives, and change implementations within a capital markets environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using SQL, VBA, Access, or similar data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with operational risk, controls, regulatory requirements, and audit processes within a financial institution.
