Job DescriptionOversee analytics support for Global Sales, specifically focusing on the Travel Management Company (TMC) and Groups & Meetings segments. Responsible for leading efforts that go beyond performance reporting to deliver deep, actionable insights that drive revenue and support commercial decision-making. This includes forecasting, supporting contract design, evaluating promotions and pay-for-performance initiatives, and conducting in-depth analysis to identify key drivers of performance.
Your day to day:
- Act as the lead analytics partner for the TMC and Groups & Meetings segments within Global Sales, supporting sellers and sales leaders with insights that drive revenue opportunities and commercial decision-making.
- Develop complex SQL-based data extracts, ensuring alignment with defined business and technical requirements.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Global Sales, developing a deep understanding of segment strategies and seller needs in order to deliver tailored, actionable insights that go beyond reporting.
- Provide timely ad hoc query and reporting support to internal stakeholders across the organization.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to business challenges, performing statistical analyses, creating accurate and well-formatted charts, tables, and visualizations, and delivering insights within established timelines.
What we need from you
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience working in Google BigQuery or similar cloud-based data warehouse environments.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis.
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools to build intuitive dashboards and visual storytelling.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a decision-support and data warehousing environment, including extracting experience and structuring large datasets to drive business insights.
- Proven ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and deliver insights that inform sales strategy and drive revenue.
- Demonstrated understanding of business analysis, including identifying performance drivers and surfacing opportunities through deep-dive analytics.
- Experience supporting sales, marketing, or revenue-focused teams is preferred; hospitality industry experience is a plus.
- Proven project management skills, including planning and delivering analytics projects in cross-functional environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, BusinessAnalytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, or strategy, with a focus on delivering actionable insights-prior management or team leadership experience preferred.
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $120,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
