Job Responsibilities- Lead and supervise all plant maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, efficiency, and minimal downtime.
- Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and TPM-based maintenance programs to support operational goals.
- Manage, coach, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians to ensure a skilled, motivated, and safety-focused workforce.
- Plan, schedule, and direct maintenance work while optimizing labor, resources, and maintenance costs.
- Oversee the CMMS, including work orders, equipment histories, repair records, spare parts tracking, and maintenance documentation.
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and addressing unplanned variances.
- Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance supplies, and procurement processes to ensure equipment availability and operational continuity.
- Analyze maintenance data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and plant operations.
- Lead the plant maintenance safety program, ensuring compliance with company policies and achieving zero-injury objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations related to maintenance operations and equipment management.
Qualifications- Associate degree in a related technical field required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within roofing, web handling, or other continuous-process operations.
- Strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing and processing equipment.
- Demonstrated financial acumen with the ability to optimize plant performance while controlling maintenance costs.
- Ability to conduct assessments, audits, and evaluations to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and execute action plans.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to make independent, sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and drive results through others.
