Role Overview:

This role is for a Mac Systems Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing standard configurations for Mac devices within a large-scale environment. The engineer will ensure adherence to organizational policies and security standards, manage device deployment and integration, and provide comprehensive support for Mac-related hardware and software issues. Key responsibilities include security implementation, patch management, data protection, and automation of device management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement standard configurations for Mac devices in line with organizational policies and security standards.
  • Deploy and manage Mac devices using tools like Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new devices into the existing infrastructure.
  • Package, deploy, and update software applications on Mac devices, utilizing software packaging tools and deployment scripts.
  • Manage licenses and ensure compliance with software agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all Mac devices, including hardware, software, and peripheral inventories.
  • Track device lifecycle, from procurement through disposal, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
