Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position Qualifications:

Position Summary

Sonic Clinical Trials is seeking a Logistics Services Manager to oversee global logistics operations that support clinical trial activities. This role serves as the primary point of contact between logistics providers, sponsors, clinical sites, and internal teams, ensuring the compliant, timely, and cost-effective movement of clinical trial materials and samples worldwide. The Logistics Services Manager will drive operational excellence through vendor management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with logistics vendors and monitor performance against service, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including import/export requirements and shipping documentation.

  • Oversee shipping lane qualification activities and support carrier selection and transportation strategy.

  • Provide guidance on shipping timelines, costs, customs requirements, and risk mitigation.

  • Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with logistics SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor logistics-related invoicing, freight costs, and shipment records for accuracy and completeness.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, service quality, and operational performance.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives and client needs.

  • Support quality investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions related to logistics operations.

Required Qualifications
