Skills and Competencies - 15+ years of progressive experience in banking, financial services, consulting, product strategy, or commercial leadership roles, with deep expertise in customer prospecting, market intelligence, business development, or data-driven customer acquisition, gained within financial institutions and/or banking solution providers

Responsibilities The Senior Director, Banking Strategy - Prospecting owns the medium-to-long term vision and strategy for the Growth and Prospecting domain within the Banking Business Unit, translating market insights into measurable business outcomes.
- Define and maintain the medium- to long-term vision, strategic direction, and priorities for the Growth and Prospecting domain, aligned with Banking growth goals and the Grow/Win/Monitor/Optimize customer lifecycle
- Develop deep understanding of prospecting workflows, personas, jobs-to-be-done, customer pain points, target customer profiles, and differences across segments and bank tiers
- Lead market assessment and segmentation, including market trends, regulatory developments, emerging technologies, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
- Translate customer and market insight into a clear domain strategy, strategic use cases, value-chain opportunities, and recommended future-state positioning for Moody's
- Lead domain-level build, partner, or buy assessments and shape investment priorities, business cases, and resource recommendations
- Partner with Product Strategy to convert domain priorities into differentiated propositions and high-level solution direction
- Coordinate execution across Product, Engineering, Data Estate, Advisory, Partnerships, Go-to-Market and Sales, Finance, and other Moody's businesses; surface dependencies and resolve strategic misalignment

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $198,300.00 - $287,550.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
