About the RoleAs Perk's foundational Lead Solutions Consultant for North America (NAM), you will be the regional spend management subject matter expert, leading technical and commercial aspects for strategic pursuits. You will define the SC team's operating model as we scale.
You will lead complex enterprise opportunities, partner with Sales, and liaise with Product. You will establish the discovery, demo, and solution design playbook.
You are a spend management, accounting, and financial processes expert with deep knowledge of enterprise ERPs, able to lead architectural discussions with customer IT and finance. You have a proven track record of connecting product capabilities to C-level financial priorities to sell value.
What You'll DoLead Solution Strategy & Design- Lead solution strategy on Perk's most strategic and complex NAM pursuits, from discovery through technical close.
- Translate complex finance and operational requirements into scalable solution designs that align with accounting best practices, financial controls, and audit requirements.
- Develop reusable solution patterns and reference architectures the wider SC team can deploy across the region.
Team Elevation & Mentorship- Serve as the senior SC presence in NAM, raising the technical and commercial bar across the team.
- Lead onboarding, demo certification, and continuous coaching for the Solutions Consulting team.
- Build and maintain the NAM SC playbook - discovery frameworks, demo libraries, and competitive battlecards.
- Run regular whiteboarding and deal-coaching sessions to develop the team's solution selling skills.
Enterprise Architecture Expertise- Act as the internal subject matter expert on complex customer setups, including multi-entity ERP environments, shared service center operations, and global rollouts.
- Lead architectural discussions with enterprise IT, integration, and security stakeholders - comfortable across cloud and on-premise ERP, APIs, middleware, SFTP, SSO, and data residency considerations.
- Partner with Product and Engineering as the voice of NAM customers, surfacing patterns, gaps, and roadmap input from the field.
What You'll Bring- • Experience: 8-12 years in Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting for complex B2B SaaS, with at least 3 years in a senior, lead, or mentoring capacity.
- • Domain Expertise: Deep, hands-on understanding of enterprise accounting processes, P2P / AP automation, T&E, corporate cards, financial controls, and shared service operations. Spend management, P2P, or Office of the CFO SaaS experience required.
- • ERP & Integration Fluency: Demonstrated expertise across enterprise ERP landscapes (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday) and integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, iPaaS/middleware, SFTP, event-driven architectures).
- • Strategic Mindset: Track record of not just executing deals but defining solution consulting methodologies, building enablement, and improving team performance at scale.
- • Executive Presence: Confident presenting value to CFOs, Controllers, and CIOs at Global 2000 and high-growth enterprises across North America.
- • Sales Instinct: Genuine commercial mindset - you partner with AEs to drive deals, not just respond to them.
Nice to Have- Prior career as a finance practitioner (controller, FP&A, AP manager) before moving into pre-sales.
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting credential.
- Experience scaling a Solutions Consulting function in a high-growth SaaS environment.

Compensation for this role is a combination of salary, commissions, and stock options. The base salary range is $140,500 - $165,000, and the total on-target commission is $45,000. The commission structure will be tied to achieving revenue & retention targets
