Job DescriptionOCI Strategic Customers Engineering partners directly with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's largest and most demanding customers, including customers deploying large-scale AI and GPU infrastructure. These programs require close coordination across construction, power, cooling, engineering readiness, operational handoff, and customer delivery planning.
We are seeking a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager to bridge construction, engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams. This individual will not own construction execution, but will work with the teams building and delivering the plans to understand how customer commit dates will be met, where risk exists, where timelines may slip, and what mitigation and communication plans are required.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate is a senior individual contributor who brings structure, judgment, and execution discipline to complex infrastructure delivery programs. They can bridge construction, engineering, operations, and customer conversations, translating ambiguity into clear risks, mitigation plans, decisions, and communication paths.
- Coordinate across construction, OCI engineering, operations, capacity, and customer-facing teams to build and maintain a clear view of customer commit dates, delivery plans, dependencies, and risks.
- Partner with the teams responsible for construction, power, cooling, and core infrastructure readiness to understand execution status, constraints, and potential impact to customer delivery.
- Identify risks to customer commit dates early, including construction delays, power and cooling readiness, engineering dependencies, operational handoff gaps, and capacity constraints.
- Drive mitigation planning across teams, ensuring owners, actions, timelines, and decision points are clearly documented and actively managed.
- Work with stakeholders to determine where delivery plans can be accelerated, where commitments are at risk, and where timeline slips need to be escalated.
- Create clear internal and customer-facing communication plans for delivery risks, mitigation actions, status updates, and changes to expected delivery timelines.
- Serve as the connective tissue between construction, engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams, ensuring there is shared understanding of plan health and customer impact.
- Provide executive-ready status reporting, risk summaries, escalation materials, and decision support for strategic customer infrastructure programs.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience coordinating complex infrastructure, data center, cloud capacity, construction-adjacent, or technical delivery programs.
- Strong understanding of data center delivery dependencies, including construction milestones, power, cooling, facility readiness, engineering readiness, and operational handoff.
- Experience working across engineering, construction, operations, capacity, and customer-facing teams to manage delivery risks and customer commitments.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks, create mitigation plans, manage dependencies, and drive alignment across teams without direct ownership of all execution areas.
- Strong customer and executive communication skills, including the ability to summarize technical, operational, and schedule risk clearly.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments while maintaining delivery discipline, transparency, and customer focus.
- Experience with GPU, AI infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale data center delivery preferred.
QualificationsUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $116,600 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
