The Impact You'll Make

As the Lead NPD Materials Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring new products reach customers successfully by building supply chain readiness before every launch, product transfer, ramp-up, and footprint change. Your work will help safeguard customer commitments, support business growth, and enable smooth production transitions across North America.
You will bring together teams across engineering, sourcing, operations, quality, logistics, and planning to proactively identify risks and create solutions before they impact customers. By driving launch discipline and material readiness, you will help transform complex supply chain challenges into reliable execution.
Success in this role requires inclusive leadership, strong collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will lead through influence, demonstrate the Danfoss behaviors in your daily work, and foster an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and contribute to better decisions and outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead supply chain readiness activities for new product launches, product transfers, production ramp-ups, and manufacturing footprint changes to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop launch readiness plans, risk assessments, supplier tracking processes, and transition strategies that reduce disruption and support customer commitments.
  • Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve material, capacity, tooling, quality, documentation, and delivery risks before launch milestones.
  • Align launch schedules with production, inventory, capacity, and customer requirements to support smooth and reliable ramp-up performance.
  • Drive proactive risk escalation, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen future launch readiness and supply chain performance.


What We're Looking For

  • Experience leading or coordinating supply chain readiness, materials planning, supplier readiness, procurement, manufacturing planning, or new product introduction activities.
  • Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of material planning, supplier capacity management, production ramp-ups, product transfers, and supply chain risk management.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and maintaining accurate planning, supplier, sourcing, and master data to support operational readiness.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Danfoss behaviors, inclusive leadership, continuous improvement, and creating collaborative environments where diverse perspectives can thrive.
