ABOUT THE ROLE

The Lead Identity & Access Management (IAM) Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of enterprise identity systems and user lifecycle processes. This role serves as a technical lead and subject matter expert (SME) for IAM operations, ensuring secure, scalable, and automated identity services that align with organizational security, compliance, and business objectives.

This individual will partner across IT, Security, HR, and business teams to define access standards, improve automation, and drive operational excellence in identity governance and administration.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate and engage with other ESRM and IT teams to execute on project scopes and defined deliverables
  • Interface with various departments to establish requirements in identity processes and systems
  • Manage identities, applications, and automations in Okta
  • Define and maintain access control standards, role models, and entitlement structures across the enterprise
  • Ownership of the identity platforms (IDP, PAM, IGA) to manage ongoing development and operational overhead
  • Partner with compliance and audit teams to support access certifications, SOX/ISO controls, and audit readiness
  • Work with tool owners and depart leaders to establish minimum access requirements
  • Build and document access policies according to departmental, team, and organizational needs
  • Provide operational support for all tiers in the IAM organization
  • Provide SME insight into IAM best practices


About You
  • Strong expertise in Identity & Access Management concepts and systems
  • Deep understanding of access control models (RBAC, ABAC), identity lifecycle management, and entitlement governance
  • High attention to detail and the ability to see broader trends
  • Ability to establish relationships that enable positive partnerships with other internal organizations.
  • Knowledge of user profiling techniques for efficient planning of on-boarding activities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience presenting designs and concepts to various stakeholders
  • Expert knowledge of access and identity access management tools and systems
  • Ability to enable automation to advance internal processes


Minimum Qualifications
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5 + years of experience in Identity & Access Management
  • Previous audit and compliance experience
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Okta Certified Professional, IAM/IGA certifications)


Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years IAM experience
  • Experience developing and implementing identity systems (PAM, IGA, etc)
  • Familiarity with Okta, Office 365, and/or Slack are all considered assets
  • Okta Certified Professional achievement

The base salary range for this job family is 58,000 to 205,000 USD annually. This range reflects the base pay the company reasonably expects to offer for this position, aligned to the broader job family base pay structure. Actual base pay may vary based on skills, experience, and location, including job family level. In addition to base pay, Arctic Wolf offers variable incentive compensation, new hire equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
