Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Lead Geospatial Data Engineer to provide technical leadership for enterprise-scale data and analytics initiatives involving geospatial, imagery, and cloud-based data platforms. This individual will serve as the technical lead responsible for guiding architecture decisions, reviewing implementation approaches, and ensuring high-quality delivery across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering expertise with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable cloud-based data solutions.
- Provide technical oversight and code review for engineering teams to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Guide technical decision-making related to data ingestion, transformation, storage, and integration.
- Support the development of solutions involving geospatial, imagery, and enterprise data platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate tools, technologies, and implementation strategies.
- Mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices across projects.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in solution discovery, planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
Qualifications- 10-15 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- Strong expertise with Python, SQL, and Azure cloud services.
- Experience with GIS technologies, geospatial data platforms, and Esri-based application ecosystems.
- Experience leading technical teams and overseeing enterprise-scale data initiatives.
- Experience designing and implementing data pipelines, integrations, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within utility, energy, or other asset-intensive industries.
- Experience reviewing technical designs, implementation approaches, and engineering deliverables.
Preferred- Experience with computer vision, imagery, LiDAR, or related large-scale image datasets.
- Consulting experience in a client-facing environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

Logic20/20 offers a competitive compensation package, with a target base salary range of $173,077- $179,863. The final base salary offered is dependent on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Eligible employees may also qualify for performance-based bonuses and other incentives.
