Overview of the role:

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Site Lead who will play a key role in promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence within Saputo Canada operations. The incumbent provides technical and analytical support to the Plant Manager and cross-functional teams and is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, driving, and sustaining improvement opportunities across the site.

The CI Site Lead acts as the site subject matter expert for continuous improvement systems, performance analysis, and data-driven decision support. This role leverages plant systems and analytical tools to generate actionable insights, guide prioritization, and support structured problem solving across Production, Maintenance, and Quality.

As a specialist role, the CI Site Lead operates through influence, coaching, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration rather than through direct people leadership.

How you will make contributions that matter:
  • Own site CI systems and performance tools (e.g., OEE), ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Analyze plant performance data to identify trends, losses, and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and support Plant Leadership Team decision-making.
  • Support Production in prioritizing top losses and improving OEE and line performance.
  • Provide structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis support.
  • Support Maintenance prioritization based on operational impact.
  • Provide insights on equipment reliability and performance trends.
  • Support Maintenance and Finance with OPEX tracking and cost control.
  • Support Quality in identifying process trends and reducing variability.
  • Use tools such as Minitab, Excel, and Power BI for advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Develop dashboards and visual reporting tools to support decision-making.
  • Translate operational ideas into structured analysis and actionable plans.
  • Support development of CI roadmap and site master plan.
  • Lead CI initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Support audits and Operational Excellence assessments.
  • Train and coach teams on CI tools and methodologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop, standardize, and continuously improve operational procedures and documentation.
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and structured continuous improvement workshops to drive measurable performance improvements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned.


You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering preferred; other relevant disciplines considered.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred; Green Belt with strong experience considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience preferred; minimum 3 years with strong capability may be considered.
  • Strong experience in data analysis, trend analysis, and performance improvement.
  • Advanced proficiency with Minitab, Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and improvements.
  • Experience in cross-functional manufacturing environment.

Salary: $80,130.00 - $100,160.00

*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
