Full Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Commercial Analytics Lead to support our U.S. Generics business. This role will combine pricing insights, strategy and program management to drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and business performance.
The role will partner closely with Commercial, Pricing, Finance and Supply Chain translating data into actionable insights and ensuring execution through structured programs (including SDP initiatives).
Responsibilities:
Commercial & Pricing Analytics
• Build and manage SKU-level forecasts across product lifecycle stages (launch, steady-state, LOE)
• Analyze pricing dynamics including WAC vs. net, rebates, chargebacks, and margin drivers
• Develop actionable insights on:
• Market trends, competitive landscape, and customer segments (GPOs, wholesalers, IDNs, hospitals)
• Market share, prescription trends, and pipeline impact
• Identify opportunities and risks in the U.S. generics market, including competitive benchmarking.
• Leverage analytics and market intelligence to support data-driven commercial decision-making
SDP Support
• Translate strategy into clear priorities, KPIs, and execution plans
• Support and drive execution of SDP initiatives
• Lead cross-functional programs including:
• Product launches
• Pricing and contracting initiatives
• Productivity and cost optimization efforts
• Track progress, risks, and outcomes; ensure alignment and timely execution across stakeholders
• Own end-to-end program management for key strategic initiatives (both enterprise-level and functional).
Governance & Execution
• Lead and structure Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and track follow-through on action items
• Drive accountability across teams to deliver business outcomes and performance targets
• Support development and tracking of annual strategic plans at the organizational level
• Own and manage organizational and functional scorecards, ensuring visibility to KPIs and performance metrics
Incumbent should be willing to work in person from our Princeton, NJ office
Qualifications
Educational qualification: Required Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Pharmacy). Preferred Master's degree (MBA, MS Analytics/Statistics/Operations Research)
Minimum work experience: 8-12+ years of commercial analytics experience, including 3+ years leading teams or cross-functional programs
Skills & attributes:
• Pharmaceuticals experience required; Generics strongly preferred
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and one analytics language (Python or R); expert in Excel and Power BI/Tableau
• Strong stakeholder management with Sales, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Finance
• Experience with advanced forecasting/optimization (time-series, mixed-integer programming for territory design)
• Familiarity with IQVIA/Symphony Health datasets, wholesaler data, chargeback files, and GPO contract analytics
