Full Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Associate Marketing SRx (Specialty generic injectables) to develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for assigned products, develop annual budgets and latest estimates for product revenues and margins, coordinate with Sales team and other cross functional teams to deliver revenues for products, and achieve market share targets. This role also manages sales operations to support SRx sales team activities. Responsibilities: • You will develop and implement generic injectable product strategies, and have product management responsibility for both assigned in line products and new product launches • You will be responsible for developing product forecasts, both volume and financial, for assigned new products to enable evaluation of potential opportunity as well as production planning through collecting and analyzing data on products, customers, competitors, market shares, pricing trends, reimbursement policies, and regulatory requirements • Your role involves developing and updating the financial forecast of the assigned product portfolio for the annual budget and quarterly estimate process as well as monitoring product performance trend versus budget and estimate, providing insight and comments on the variances, and proactively drive product performance • You will formulate product strategy maps, setting near term and long term market share targets, utilizing inputs from customers, syndicated data, export data, and external market research. • You will analyze external environment, market trends, and customer behavior to guide demand planning and provide inputs to Supply Chain for demand planning to drive business growth and maximize value from the commercial portfolio • For assigned products, you will coordinate with various cross-functional teams on the execution of processes related to Pre-Launch and Launch. This includes participating and providing guidance (as needed) in the filing to launch process, leading pre-launch meetings, developing strategies on pricing, and prioritizing customer targets and positioning of the product in the IDN sales team bag • Your role also entails reviewing product line pricing versus market pricing and recent price changes, making changes to pricing in response to competitive actions, and analyzing competition and market pricing to set WAC price and pricing for new products • You will work with cross-functional teams to review and agree on new prices and price changes, as well as review quarterly PHS Pricing and sign-off for submission to the wholesaler and provide floor pricing to the IDN Sales team • You will create marketing material such as sell sheets and product catalogs for distribution to customers, working with agencies in the design of material, and managing approval of marketing material with the Promotional Review Committee for submission to The Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) • You will build and publish reports from SAP data required by the SRx sales team to track customer contract pricing, sales performance, contract compliance, and any other ad hoc reports required by the SRx sales team Qualifications Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceuticals / Marketing or Business Major; MBA preferred Minimum work experience: 3-5 years of industry experience Skills & attributes: • 2-3 years of generic pharmaceutical marketing experience in product management preferred. Generic injectable experience a plus. • Knowledge of the Hospital, IDN, Specialty Clinic and Group Purchasing Organization Channels. • Strong understanding of sales force needs, market trends, customer requirements and competitor behavior, promotion process, product management and pricing in Health Systems space. • Good communication (written & verbal), financial, and interpersonal skills. • In-depth knowledge of secondary market research (e.g. IQVIA, Symphony) • Good computer (MS Office Suite), analytical & problem-solving skills Additional Information Our Work Culture Ask any employee at Dr. Reddy's why they come to work every day and they'll say, because Good Health Can't Wait.
