About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a strategic, data-driven Lead Business Execution Consultant with a consulting, market planning, or strategy & analytics background to join the Branch Channel Management Market Planning team focused on branch and ATM market planning.
This role plays a critical leadership function in shaping and executing long-term branch and ATM distribution strategies across assigned markets. The ideal candidate operates at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, and executive storytelling—translating complex data into clear, decision-ready insights. You will help drive enterprise-wide retail distribution decisions by uncovering market insights, partnering with analytics and data science teams, and influencing senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
In this role, you will:
- Own endtoend marketlevel branch network strategy and execution, combining deep field insight with advanced analytics to inform branch expansion, relocation, downsizing, closure, and ATM optimization decisions.
- Ensure physical distribution investments align with market opportunity, customer demand, longterm network strategy, and enterprise financial targets.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to regional and executive leaders by delivering clear, decisionready insights, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
- Maintain a strong field presence to understand macro and micromarket dynamics and influence senior stakeholders through factbased, actionable guidance.
- Lead the new branch and ATM investment pipeline from concept through approval, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and capital objectives.
- Own branch closure planning, including candidate identification, stakeholder engagement, and assessment of financial, customer, and operational impacts.
- Partner closely with regional leadership, finance, risk, compliance, corporate properties, and strategy teams to align market strategy, capital deployment, and execution priorities.
- Provide strategic direction to corporate real estate partners on lease renewals, downsizing, and repositioning opportunities.
- Integrate advanced analytics, geospatial insights, and scenario modeling into rigorous, factbased recommendations that support enterprise decisionmaking.
- Coordinate risk, compliance, and control considerations associated with branch and ATM network changes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of Retail Network Planning experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in distribution strategy, network planning, real estate strategy, or a related field.
- Experience applying advanced analytics to inform strategic and investment decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear, executivelevel insights and actionable recommendations.
- Experience within banking, financial services, or largescale branch network environments.
- Proven track record of leading market or enterprisescale initiatives through influence and crossfunctional collaboration.
- Bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative, analytical, or business discipline.
- Strong executive communication skills, including decisionoriented storytelling and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, market performance drivers, capital tradeoffs, and returnbased decision making, including experience with geospatial analysis and scenario modeling.
Job Expectations:

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$143,000.00 - $224,000.00
