The Module Center & Operations Quality team is seeking a CORE Lead to mature the CORE operating model and implement meaningful changes to our processes, tools and work environment to improve our ability to deliver on customer commitments. As a member of the team, the CORE Lead will be a key driver of systemic continuous improvement and responsible for BPM, Business Process Management, of our key processes.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide functional expertise and leadership in driving CORE initiatives to mature the value stream processes by executing the plan linked to business strategies and best in class performance.
  • Formulate, implement, and evaluate the CORE Strategic plan, including short and long-term objectives
  • Partner with value stream leadership to define and implement Technology, CORE and Transformation strategies
  • Lead CORE projects and events to achieve business objectives and CORE progression.
  • Manage business processes including: customer returns coordination, SOWs, discipline communities of practice, RTX ZERO program leadership, CAB/VCAB coordination, Supplier Accountability
  • Champion change communications to package and flow-down critical elements of organizational vision, mission, and business performance to support a transformational culture and positive work environment.
  • Empower employees to utilize robust digital tools and deploy optimized and innovative processes via robust change management activities to develop new organizational capabilities and support cultivation of a highly competent and motivated workforce.
  • Encourage technological innovation and process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost reduction and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable RTX and Pratt & Whitney policies and procedures including individual employee awareness of responsibility and accountability.
  • Demonstrate ethical leadership and compliance.
  • Travel - up to 25%
  • This role is onsite based at any of the major domestic factories (East Hartford/Middletown, CT or Columbus, GA or North Berwick, ME)

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors Degree in engineering, manufacturing/operations, business, or technical field and 12+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operations and/or management; OR an advanced degree in engineering, manufacturing/operations, business, or technical field and 10+ years of experience in operations and/or management.
  • 5+ years of project management experience; OR PMP certification.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) Professional or Expert Certification and working experience in lean, continuous improvement, or operations.
  • Prior experience applying problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Supplier and operations quality functional experience.
  • Experience working independently while delivering on expectations.
  • Strong leadership skills, critical thinking skills, business discernment, and ability to innovate.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
