Job Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities
  • Facilitates product maturation (performance, dimensional, and appearance) phase of new launch.
  • Uses open issues report to record and track all open issues to closure.
  • Reviews advanced quality planning documents, FMEA's, PDS, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Charts, Gage R&R studies, and capability studies to help identify and resolve issues during the development and launch of a new product.
  • Works with Launch Team to provide production level parts for each Customer Pre Production build.
  • Performs technical and statistical investigations and analysis on production, quality, process, and equipment issues using standard NAL problem solving methods.
  • Assists in processing and delivering prototype parts by ensuring that tools replicate production process intent and meet design and performance specifications, and providing updated information regarding engineering changes.


The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $102,600 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.

Requirements

Your Background

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of related Engineering experience.

Experience in the quality function within automotive supplier manufacturing working with Japanese and US automakers in launch activities is preferred.
