Position Description

We are hiring a Quality Engineer at our Jefferson City, MO manufacturing facility supporting our Air Cooled Applications business. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting a rapidly growing operation by leading supplier-related quality activities while also supporting internal and customer quality initiatives. This is a hands-on, onsite role for a Quality Engineer who enjoys problem solving, working cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering, and driving issues to permanent resolution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage supplier quality issues, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up
  • Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (8D preferred) to supplier, production, and customer quality issues
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for supplier quality performance and improvement efforts
  • Conduct and support product, process, and system audits in alignment with ISO 9001 requirements
  • Support and maintain compliance with IATF-16949 standards (experience preferred, not required)
  • Review quality trends, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions
  • Support APQP and PPAP activities as required
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality Supervisors, and QA Technicians
  • Provide quality leadership through influence and delegation (dotted-line support to QA technicians)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a high-growth manufacturing environment

The specific offer will depend on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and other job-related considerations but will be within the stated range.
