Key Account Manager - Sobeys Quebec

The Key Account Manager (KAM) - is accountable for the delivery of sales and profit objectives with the assigned key account customer.

The KAM - Sobeys Quebec is responsible for the effective development and implementation of the customer business plans for assigned customers, including IGA Quebec, Tradition and Bonichoix. The successful incumbent will endeavor to align and integrate category and brand strategies with customer strategies in an effort to achieve profitability objectives for PepsiCo Beverages Canada.

The successful incumbent will have expert knowledge of business trends, market dynamics, economic conditions, customer developments, competitive activities, historical category learning's etc. in recommending improvements and innovative solutions to trade-based activities.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the delivery of planned volume and profit objectives (net revenue $, MC $, MC %), in a manner that is consistent with the strategic direction of the business.
  • Efficiently manage information flow between key business contacts while continually striving to improve the effectiveness of operating systems and to facilitate great execution
  • Bring to life key business strategies that will enhance the position of our brands to consumers by leveraging a superior understanding of customers.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer strategies, business plans, practices and processes in order to optimize business results.
  • Coaches and supports one retail analyst by setting clear reporting expectations, reviewing insights for accuracy and actionability, and ensuring accountability to deliver data-driven recommendations that support store sales performance.


Qualifications

  • Required to have a thorough understanding of the marketplace environment impacting the customer. Key skill sets to be successful would include - Strategic Insight, Business Planning, Conflict Management, Savvy Communication, and Influence Management, Finance acumen.
  • Strong selling and negotiating skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills, an assertive, proactive and analytical approach with a sales background.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.

Il/elle doit avoir une profonde connaissance des tendances commerciales, de la dynamique du marché, des conditions économiques, du développement des comptes de clients, des activités concurrentielles, des leçons à tirer de situations antérieures dans la catégorie et d'autres facteurs connexes pour recommander des améliorations ainsi que des solutions novatrices pour les activités commerciales.

Responsibilities (Secondary Language)

  • Superviser l'atteinte des objectifs pour le volume prévu et les profits (revenu net en dollars, contribution marginale en dollars, contribution marginale en pourcentage) d'une manière conforme aux orientations stratégiques de l'organisation.
  • Gérer efficacement le processus de transmission de l'information entre les principaux contacts d'affaires tout en cherchant continuellement à améliorer l'efficacité des systèmes d'exploitation et à assurer une excellente exécution.
  • Déployer les stratégies d'affaires clés pour permettre d'améliorer le positionnement de nos marques auprès des consommatrices et consommateurs en tirant profit de notre compréhension supérieure de nos clients.
  • Obtenir une profonde connaissance des stratégies, des plans d'affaires, des pratiques et des processus des clients dans le but d'optimiser les résultats commerciaux.
  • Encadrer et soutenir un• e analyste de détail en définissant des attentes claires en matière de rapports, en validant la qualité et la pertinence des analyses, et en assurant une responsabilisation quant à la livraison de recommandations basées sur les données visant à améliorer le rendement en magasin.


Qualifications (Secondary Language)

COMPÉTENCES :
  • Profonde compréhension des conditions de marché qui influencent les résultats du client (obligatoire). Habiletés clés pour réussir : perspective stratégique, planification commerciale, gestion des conflits, communication efficace, gestion de l'influence et connaissances financières.
  • Excellentes habiletés de vente et de négociation.
  • Grandes habiletés en communication interpersonnelle et approche affirmative, proactive et analytique dans un contexte de vente.
  • Capacité à travailler au sein d'une équipe.

QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Diplôme universitaire, de préférence dans une discipline relative aux affaires.
  • Expérience en gestion de comptes
  • Expérience diversifiée, notamment dans les domaines des ventes et de la gestion des ventes, ainsi que dans divers réseaux.
  • 5 années d'expérience en vente, idéalement dans divers secteurs et avec différentes gammes de produits.
  • Expérience en gestion d'équipe (atout)
  • Le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est requis. La personne peut être établie au Québec ou à Mississauga. Si la personne retenue est établie à Mississauga, le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est requis. Si elle est basée au Québec, le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est aussi requis afin de communiquer avec son/sa gestionnaire immédiat• e et quelques membres de l'équipe interne.

Ce poste exige certains déplacements ainsi qu'une connaissance approfondie et une maîtrise des outils technologiques utilisés en gestion des affaires.
